Third-party structural consultancy for the comprehensive demolition of the Danube Home previous tenant store, a large-scale project situated within the bustling retail environment of Doha Festival City. Our engagement was critical, as it necessitated an in-depth analysis, meticulous modeling, and a rigorous review of the existing structural elements. The primary objective was to guarantee the structural integrity and paramount safety of the surrounding building and its adjacent facilities throughout the delicate process of demolishing the 13,000 square meter, three-floor reinforced concrete (RC) building. This project, with a total budget of 60 million Qatari Riyals, underscored the necessity of expert structural oversight to mitigate all potential risks associated with a complex urban demolition.
Our role
Third-party structural design consultant. Prepared all as-built analytical models and calculations, cutting sequence analysis and calculations, scaffolding calculation assumptions, and internal supervision to review all construction activities/documents structurally.
