Our role

We are tasked with strengthening the existing structural steel framework of the industrial factory to safely accommodate a heavy additional surcharge load of 1,000 $\text{kg/m}^2$. This complex engineering intervention aims to upgrade the overall load-bearing capacity while preserving the structural integrity of the facility.Our technical approach leverages advanced finite element modeling (FEM) software alongside modern engineering methodologies to simulate structural behavior under the newly imposed loading demands. Through comprehensive 3D non-linear structural analysis, we precisely identify stress concentrations, moment capacity limitations, and critical member deflections.The strengthening strategy incorporates targeted structural modifications, utilizing optimized techniques such as section enlargement, strategic stiffening, flange plate bonding, and high-strength bracing upgrades. Every retrofitting and strengthening detail is fully engineered in strict compliance with updated AISC design specifications and international structural codes.We focus heavily on constructability and operational efficiency, ensuring all structural strengthening schemes minimize site interruption and avoid unnecessary downtime for ongoing factory operations. Our complete scope includes rigorous structural calculations, connection strengthening design, and detailed retrofitting drawings for seamless site execution.
